Sunrise Educational Forum

Sunrise Educational Forum is a nonprofit organization supporting vulnerable children and communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as immigrants and refugees in the United States.

The project focused on establishing a professional digital presence that could clearly present the organization’s initiatives, build credibility, and make information and donation opportunities accessible to a broader audience.

This website was a redesign from their previous work.

What I worked on

I redesigned and built the Sunrise Educational Forum website in Webflow. I organized its content around the nonprofit’s mission, programs, and donation options, and developed responsive layouts for desktop and mobile. My work also included connecting Stripe donation options and managing the domain setup.

Approach

The site needed to explain the organization’s work and make supporting it straightforward. I grouped related content into clear sections and gave visitors direct paths to learn about the programs, view community photos, and donate. Webflow also provided a way for the organization to update content after delivery.

Skills demonstrated

  • Organizing existing content into a clear website structure.
  • Designing and building responsive pages in Webflow.
  • Integrating donation options through Stripe.
  • Managing domain and DNS configuration.
  • Preparing a website for ongoing client updates.
